RealismStudio

The history of the RealismStudio, founded in 1973, is characterized by continuity and experiments and is inextricably linked to the realism debate.
With more than 300 exhibitions and events, the focus of which was current, socially critical art as well as the discursive and mediating process, the group has shaped the profile of the nGbK in the long term. In the book RealismStudio. Curatorial practices and artistic actions are presented and reinterpreted as central themes and curatorial practices of the RealismStudio.
